Unit 3 Shakespeare's 'Romeo & Juliet' 

Th/F 5/5-5/6: Carousal walk around the room with sentene frames. Class discussion and begin ACT 1 notes and diary entry journal with key concepts of vocabuary. Pick one character to write about 1/4 to 1/2 page of their emotions, feelings in relations to their point of view. Not your point of view. Each character may only be used once per act. 
 
M/T 5/9-5/10: Begin with recap from act 1 and finish Act 1 and Begin Act 2. Stop after scene with friar lawrence's cell. Fill out R&J Timeline and pass out students Act1 questions. After we finish reading Act1 Students will have in class time to work on questions. HW: Finish questions Act1 due Wednesday and Diary Entry/Survey due Thursday

Th/F 5/12-5/13: Read Act 3 Scene 1 and 2 and take notes on power point/ Act 2 questions due and diary entries for Scene 2 
 
M 5/16- Timeline of R&J Begin reading as a class. Finish ACT 3 Scene 4 and 5 and begin Act 4 Scene 1. Students will take notes and work on questions. Collect surveys of R&J 
 
T 5/17: Timeline of R&J Finish ACT4. Students will take notes and work on questions and diary entries
 
W 5/18: Timeline of R&J and Begin ACT 5 and work on diary entries and collect ACT 4 questions and start ACT5 Questions and diary entries
 
Th 5/19: Finish Timeline of R&J and Finish ACT 5. Allow time for questions and Diary entries
 
F 5/20: Poetry Portfolio Due and District Benchmark 
 
M 5/23: Finish District Benchmark in library
 
T 5/24: Romeo and Juliet film
 
W 5/25: Romeo and Juliet Film
 
Th 5/26: Romeo and Juliet Film (Pass back work)
 
F 5/27: Review for Final Jeopardy Game
