_Poetry in language arts book page (400-406) need to work on Jabberwocky page 400-401 Macavity: The Mystery Cat 402-404 Problems with Hurricanes 405-406 and complete Review and Access for each poem 
 
W 4/20: Review all three poems and allow time in class to fnish review and access questions all due at the end of period for (3) poems and if completed need to make a "Most Wanted " poster for Macavity : The Cat. Needs to have a visuale representation from the perspective of the author and list the characteristics that comprise the criminal, using commentary from the poem. 
 
Th/F 4/21-4/22: Discuss. annotate and review "Bright Star Poem", by John Keats (fill out the chart) and "My Grandmother's Love Letters", by Hart Crane (answer the following questions)
 
M/T 4/25-4/26: Pre- Activity to 'Hip Hop" ERWC Unit (Article first with questions and read and annotate as a class as an intro and Poetry Unit introduce last poems and their componenets of the unit (3) poems left
 
W 4/27: Article is due and Begin "Hip Hop Planet' read/annotate and watch part 1*2 of History of Hip Hop with Jimmy Falon and Justin Timberlank
 
Th/F 4/28-4/29: Finish "Hip Hip Planet" Timed write and Group Project due at the end of period. Listen to groups song of choice and groups analyze song in contrast to james McBride
 
M/T 5/2-5/3: Sub**AP Procture- Students will watch clip of Shakespeare in the class room and answer the following questions that go accordingly to the video and the second hour students will write accordingly James Mcbride writing task and shaping the essay template.
 
W 5/4: Shaping the Essay Finish in class and Last day for Poetry unit; Poetry Portfolio due May 20th
 
Th/F 5/5-5/6: Carousal walk around the room with sentene frames. Class discussion and begin ACT 1 notes and diary entry journal with key concepts of vocabuary. Pick one character to write about 1/4 to 1/2 page of their emotions, feelings in relations to their point of view. Not your point of view. Each character may only be used once per act.
